I'm happy with the purchase I made
I'm happy with the purchase I made. Shipment was a bit slow but delivery was top notch. I just don't understand why Newegg has so many negative reviews here.

The run around or possibly Bait and Switch
We ordered a CPU which came with a FREE C/D and when we went to check out and paid +/- $1500.00, it said 3 business days to be delivered. They stated that since it was two orders?, no where on the order site did it say 2 orders. Now its been 10 days. Also, we get an e-mail 3 days later stating they are out of the item (CPU) we ordered, and wanted to know if we would take another CPU that is the same. Why not tell people before submitting the order YOU ARE OUT OF STOCK. Why not call them. So 2 days for the e-mail, 1 day for my response, then 2 days for another e-mail saying OK. This all could be taken care of with a phone call and done in 1 day. Also, when I called Customer Support, they interrupt you in the middle of an explanation and/or will not listen to you.

High end laptop was not suitable for my spouse, so had to return
I ordered a high end laptop for my wife as a surprise, and Newegg offered the laptop desired through an affiliate, Rockystone. I ordered this laptop, and received it on May 25. Over the weekend, I gave it to my wife to see if she liked it. She opened it, started into the setting up steps, and when she got to the step where Microsoft requires you to set up an account with them to continue, she told me she didn't like the feel of the laptop or the bulkiness of the laptop, and she shut down the laptop. This laptop was operated for less than 15 minutes, part of which was Microsoft updating Windows 11 home. I contacted Newegg on May 30 for return approval, and they responded quickly and provided me a UPS return label. I packaged the laptop back into the exact original packaging, and return shipped the laptop on May 30. When I got confirmation that the laptop had been received at Newegg, I checked my credit card and found out that the credit issued was $100.00 less than the purchase price (with tax). I contacted Newegg and explained that this laptop was on less than 15 minutes, mostly updating Windows 11, and then was shut down, and that having $100.00 taken away from my credit was unreasonable given the circumstances. I also explained that every part of the original packaging was used to pack the laptop and that it was quickly shipped back to Newegg. Newegg agreed to review, and after 5 days or so, they issued a 2nd credit for the $100.00 shortfall. Their response was excellent, and very customer oriented. The way Newegg handled my request desires a 5 star rating,

Sends random products, not the correct product.
Newegg repeatedly sends me the complete wrong product almost everytime i order something. Order a simple cable and its like they just pick any cable they have and send it to me. Then i have to return it and try again, 3-4 months of back and forth shipping. Why not just send the correct product?

Purchased a high end gaming pc from them Barely lasted a year and 3 months. For $2400 you'd think they would help fix any issues it may have with regular use but nope.

I’m a Manufacturer - Newegg Marketplace Full of Scam Listings
I’m a manufacturer and I sell exclusively on amazon but I see unauthorized listings of my products all over newegg marketplace. Many different sellers on newegg took my amazon product pictures, description, my brand name, and listed the items for 2.5 to 3x the price. Some of the listings shipping from china. I manufacture in U.S. and have nothing to do with China or any distributors or other sellers. Newegg marketplace is completely unchecked, unverified, unregulated scam. Any item you find there, you can find from their legitimate seller on amazon for at least twice as cheap. I don’t know how newegg allows this fraud go unchecked.

After many years and tens of thousands of dollars spent, as a customer I feel newegg has completely abandoned it's customers in favor of greed. Me and my business will NO LONGER be doing business with them. Hello B&H Photo.

Newegg Awful Service
The recent customer support experience that I had indicates that it's still as awful as it was when they failed to give me a full refund on an order that never delivered previously. In the past, they withheld money from me for something marked "free" for end users. I am looking to warn other users of the lack of support they provide to their customers.

Cannot delete account.
I had to create an account to find out delivery is £25. What a scam. Then they don't let you delete you account. There isn't a button for it. You have to contact customer services... which they don't let you do. What a horrible website.

False / Deceptive Product Description
Bought a subscription for Photoshop & Lightroom based on the description, ad copy, & a Newegg-promoted review on the Newegg site. Received a subscription for Lightroom ONLY. It was not even hinted at anywhere on the page that Photoshop was not included. Contacted Newegg asking to return the unused subscription, & their only response was to say they emailed me a key -- basically get lost, but nothing about how that key was only for Lightroom. ----- Update: Newegg sent an email 6/15/23 & refunded the full amount.

Extremely Dissatisfied with Newegg.com: Account Blocked, Terrible Customer Service
My experience with Newegg.com was a nightmare. After deducting the payment from my card, they inexplicably blocked my account, preventing me from accessing my information. When I reached out to their customer service for assistance, I was met with unresponsiveness and indifference. Avoid this site if you value your time and money!

Missing components and bad customer service
I ordered a motherboard from Newegg. It arrived without the WiFi antenna, and when I tried to get the agent to provide the missing part, they simply ignored me and stopped responding to my messages. Overall, I do not recommend purchasing anything from Newegg.

Bought a cheap 3.0 USB card
Bought a cheap 3.0 USB card. It only cost $20, but it should have worked since they were selling it, right? Item would not load any drivers and never functioned properly even when I downloaded them off the company's shady website. Newegg refused to help and said the item could not be returned even though it was clearly faulty. Glad to be rid of this terrible company. Too many problems over too little time. Look to Tiger direct or any other tech site first before wasting time on Newegg. You can use their website to check specs as you buy from a more reputable seller.

Had a huge issue when I downloaded…
Had a huge issue when I downloaded NewEgg app. I received a notification I could save on my order if I used the app so I installed it and the problems just came from there. No discount applied and staff were unwilling to help until I requested a manager. Not impressed with such a big company giving this level of service but what can I do.

Run - Don't Walk - RUN Away From This Crooked Company
Selected a PC that was listed for $1199.99, placed it in the shopping cart, then clicked PayPal payment. Just as I was about to click "BUY" in PayPal, I saw out of the corner of my eye that the price had somehow jumped up to $1599.99. I contacted Newegg's online chat (since they don't have a phone number - wonder why), and the chat agent told me "the promotion just ended a few minutes ago." This is bait & switch at its most insidious - I recommend that you run - don't walk - RUN away from doing business with this sleazy, crooked company. Heed the bad reviews here!
